What are the advantages and disadvantages of working independently?
You get to be your own boss, work on your own time, take as many breaks as you want, go to work in your underwear or even naked if you're into that kind of thing. You dont have to listen to another guys orders about what to do for each day. You make your own plan and get to follow it in your own method.

How does your occupation/ position/ or status affect your potential opportunities or career direction?
Opportunities are usually only given to the best and brightest in a crowd. A lowly janitor isnt going to be given a chance to become the CEO of Starbucks. One obviously needs to have some sort of status to recieve a good opportunity for their future career.

How does the frequency or infrequency of payment from freelancing affect t the budget of a writer?
If given the very infrequent pay of a freelancer, one must learn how to effectively budget their income You would need to get used to be being somewhat poor for most of the year and only buy what you need. If you become a better writer though, your budget will grow and you will make more money more often.

How do flexibility, organization, and discipline affect a freelancer’s capacity to research, generate and produce quality work?
If they aren't organized or properly disciplined, then they will never be able to complete an article they are currently writing so it would take forever to get one publushed and then it would take forever to finally get a paycheck.

How does one’s expertise or ignorance affect a freelancer’s choice ofassignment?
Freelancers tend to write in genres or categories they have an expertise in. If they are ignorant to a topic, they obviously will not be able to produce an adequet article worthy of a paycheck.

Should you say no to an assignment? Why or When (at what point)?
Yes but only when you are sure you have a backup assignment so you will be able to eventually recieve a paycheck and not be poor for a long time.
